My work with the Balley Cashtal Beg project gave me lots of experience in drawing quirky, naive maps. This led onto other mapping projects, although a long way from truly accurate cartography, I like to think my maps share a sense of fun with the areas they depict.
Some lovely garden birds along with their Manx Gaelic names. One of my most popular illustrations, available in my shop as Giclee prints & tea towels.

A quick piece designed to fill a gap along an Art Trail. A peak into a secret garden.
These bird studies are part of a body of work relating to the bird-life of Castletown Harbour. Once the series is complete, the illustrations will be used on a roadside interpretation board with information in English & Manx Gaelic.
