The Hunt for the Real Fairy Wallaby! A Clue Trail Around Castletown

Read the story below, and follow the clues as they lead you on a stroll around the ancient capital!

You must know by now that there are wallabies living wild on the Isle of Man, but did you know there are FAIRY Wallabies too?!

They can be found in the North of the Island, but you have to have very keen senses to spot one as they’re extremely elusive! They are also very small; bigger than a mouse, but smaller than a rabbit. They have large, strong leathery wings, like a bat, but beautifully coloured, like a butterfly!

The Little People of Balley Cashtal Beg had never met a fairy wallaby before, so a group of them set out on a long journey North to see if they could make some new friends.

They found a whole mob of Fairy Wallabies and had a great time, flying around the treetops together & exploring the curraghs! They told them all about Balley Cashtal Beg & the friendly humans who live there.

Clistey & her tiny joey Lheim wanted to come and see the wonders of the South for themselves, so they came back with the Little People to take a tour of Balley Cashtal Beg!

See if you can catch up with them! They started their tour in Market square. Find an information board with a map, & see if you can find the answer to the below question:
